8 reasons our web hosting services are better:

1). Geographically dispersed global nameservers (Frankfurt, London, Kowloon (Hong Kong), New York, Reston (Virginia), Los Angeles, San Jose, Dallas). OTHER HOSTS: DNS is often located in the same data center, and may even be handled by a single server (which may also handle your website and email hosting).

2). Geographically dispersed email servers (the primary email servers and the backup email servers are in different data centers). OTHER HOSTS: Email is often hosted on a single machine, and may even be hosted by the same server as your website.

3). Raid 1 and 15,000 RPM drives (on our primary web servers). Data is mirrored to one or more disks; this permits us to quickly recover from a total hard disk failure (which rarely happens). OTHER HOSTS: Are often running their servers on a single drive which could translate to days of problems and/or downtime if that drive fails (if they even have backups). Drives are often 10,000 RPM or less.

4). Dell, Dual quad core Intel Xeon processors (high end servers and processors). OTHER HOSTS: Many are running cheaper desktop computers and processors.

5). Gigabit (1000 Mbps) web server Internet connectivity. OTHER HOSTS: Are often running with Internet connections ranging from (as little as 1 Mbps) to 100 Mbps.

6). Regular automated backups (onsite and offsite). OTHER HOSTS: Some web hosting companies do not backup your data at all...

7). Low customer to server ratio (less than 200:1; this only applies to shared hosting clients). OTHER HOSTS: Many hosting companies host thousands of customers on a single server.

8). 24/7/365 server monitoring and outage response. OTHER HOSTS: Monitoring and outage response services are questionable.
